What is the role?
Employee Experience is everything to us and, in this role, you'll play a pivotal part in providing employees and line managers with an efficient and effective first line contact on all kinds of issues, offering a first-class service every time.
As part of the fantastic Employee Experience team, you will support employees by resolving queries and completing administration tasks to help shape and implement effective strategies and activities.
This position is extremely demanding but is also very rewarding and would suit an HR professional who is looking for an opportunity to further develop their career.
What will you do?
- Providing efficient and timely administrative support to the wider HR team and key stakeholders.
- To act as a point of contact for line managers, employees and stakeholders seeking HR advice.
- Standardising processes, ensuring a high quality, systemised and repeatable experience every time, always seeking process improvements.
- Producing complete and accurate data and insight for the HR team and wider business to help manage people and teams.
- Seeking to continuously improve the employee experience where it touches HR at Gatwick:
- Improving self service capability
- Updating online content
- Ensuring the HR systems user experience is improved
- Proposing alternative communications channels where appropriate to make sure that employees have easy access to information.
- Using coaching skills to guide managers to be more self-sufficient, directing them to self-service tools.
Do you have what we're looking for?
Are you an experienced HR Administrator used to supporting all aspects of the employee lifecycle?
We are looking for an individual who is competent and capable of providing HR generalist administrative support with the ability to see a task through to completion. You will also have:
- An understanding of employment legislation, policies and practices and their application.
- Confidence in providing advice and support to line managers on HR processes, policies and systems as required.
- HR systems experience and the ability to develop a solid knowledge and understanding of how our HR system works from both and employee and line manager perspective.
- Experience in being the first point of contact for any HR related queries, passing relevant questions onto appropriate subject matter expert areas.
- Possess a curious mindset to understand ‘why' with a continuous improvement outlook and ability to suggest best fit solutions.
- A clear passion for delivering outstanding customer service at all times with the ability to plan and prioritise workload.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously or as part of a team.
- Ideally, CIPD qualified (level 3).
- Strong IT skills including proficient user of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
