Have you graduated in 2023 with a 2:1 or above (or projected for 2024) and do you have a passion for Finance and exploring career routes in this field.
What is the Programme?
Its for 2 years. You will be involved in live projects that deliver what matters. This role will be involved in a programme that provides opportunity to be a part of a variety of projects.
The Finance Graduate will support the wider finance team across a range of activities such as internal audit, business partnering and statutory reporting. This experience will help to provide a rounded understanding of a finance function. There will be three rotations that will each last for approx. 6-9 months each.
Part of the programme will include a leadership development module with the other graduates and a dedicated coach (a senior leader from the business) who will help to build resilience in the workplace.
As part of the graduate programme, you will spend time:
- Working with the internal audit team on the practical application of doing internal audits
- Work with Finance Business Partners and their analysts to manage budgets and provide timely financial insight, analysis and management information (eg monthly reporting).
- Be involved in analysis to support strategic decision making eg investment appraisals etc. May also be an opportunity to get involved with price setting/charges
- Exposure to our Statutory accounts and other reporting requirements, including changes in this area such as increased focus on ESG
- Wider understanding of accounting policies and guidelines (eg IFRS) and statutory requirements
- Work closely with senior management to observe behaviours and decision-making processes

Selection Process

- An assessment centre with group and individual activities as well as a behaviour-based interview with the opportunity to meet managers and explore the airport.
