Are you our next Environment Lead? We are looking for someone who can help us redefine what's possible for HSE team.

What is the role?

The Environment Lead is responsible for ensuring the highest environmental performance within the team via rigorous application of compliance and management systems. 

The Environment Lead will have responsibility for oversight of all environmental matters residing within the business and from each respective business unit - whilst the Bus retain principal accountability for environment performance.  This person is also responsible for the implementation of management systems to ensure compliance and continuous improvement against the relevant standards (including ISO-14001 & 45001)

 What will you do?

  • Lead the development and implementation of the airport environment strategy ensuring its' alignment with and supports the delivery of the airport's overall business strategy.
  • Develop, advise and lead initiatives, engaging with all relevant stakeholders to achieve the Environment goals
  • Develop HSE KPI / objectives and establish and implement appropriate Environment key performance indicators (KPI's), analyse data, produce relevant reports and initiate targeted BU intervention
  • Lead the development of the Environment Management System and governance structures in support of the Service Business Units.  Define applicability of national and local requirements through procedures, processes, and controls

  Do you have what we're looking for?

  • Chartered Environment professional with an accredited Institution (eg. IEMA), with expertise in Environment and Sustainability compliance at a senior level
  • Proven track record in the delivery of HSE objectives associated typically with extensive experience.
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills and experience
  • Airport operational experience preferable
  • Demonstrated ability to establish a functional strategy to set and meet stretch targets
