Are you our next Business Change Manager? Due to business growth, we are looking for someone who can help us redefine what's possible for the airport's strategic development here at London Gatwick.
If you have experience of developing project briefs, defining business problems and opportunities with effective transition of business change into operational areas this role has lots to offer.

What is the role?
BCMs work with the Exec, Sponsors and Programme Managers to define strategic business requirements, develop concepts, define scope, and track the benefits of projects. The BCM develops a commercially astute business case, drives innovative and sustainable approaches and challenges constraints for each initiative.
What will you do? (Accountabilities)
- Define business problems and/or opportunities that contribute to achieving strategic goals
- Ensure that business requirements are thoroughly understood, the appropriate blend of process, systems, people and infrastructure solutions are explored. Develop initial concepts, working with internal and external modelling resources
- Work with the Sponsor to develop the project brief and business case to secure relevant approvals
- Challenge assumptions/constraints and drive opportunities to optimise cost/benefits of the project/programme
- Identify, define and track the benefits and outcomes required of the programme or project, including sustainability
- Manage the successful transition of business change into operational areas
- Establish effective stakeholder engagement mechanisms including formal consultation on projects >£5m
- Formulate and maintain Gatwick's Strategic Development Plan
Do you have what we're looking for? (Skills & experience)
- Degree in a relevant field (desirable)
- Lean/Six Sigma or equivalent skills
- Programme management training (e.g. APMP) (desirable)
- Experience in relevant business area(s) and a good understanding of the broader business context
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Commercial expertise to develop compelling business cases
- Strong analytical skills
- Track record in strategic thinking capability – seeing and exploiting synergies
- Experience in managing complex stakeholder relationships
- Strong track record of building and managing cross-functional teams
