Are you our next Airport Capacity and Planning Analyst?  We are looking for someone who can help us redefine what's possible for the Sales and Operations Planning Team here at Gatwick Airport.

Being part of a team who focus on airport modelling and driving evidence-based decisions here at Gatwick Airport. This role would suit a logical thinker who is highly numerate and enjoys problem solving.

What is the role?

This role Supports strategic decision making for all areas of the airport through airport modelling. The role will use a combination of mathematical, simulation and optimisation modelling to drive evidence-based decision making and performance.  

 What will you do? (Accountabilities)

• Modelling to support airport operations and strategic decision making
• Leverage use of statistical analysis to drive performance
• Provide insight on future growth potential and impact 
• Drive continuous improvement

  Do you have what we're looking for? (Skills & experience)

• Degree in maths, engineering, computer science or other maths related subject
• Experience in airport modelling e.g. CAST/ ArcPORT/ AirTOp
• Background in programming e.g. VBA / Python
• Strong IT skills especially excel
• Strong communication skills to effectively communicate technical results to key stakeholders
• Knowledge of airport operations
• Consciousness of operational and commercial impacts of decision making.
