What is the Programme?
Its for 2 years. And help you to understand more about running our Airport. The Aerodrome Graduate will be actively involved in real time projects affecting the airport from day one.
Aerodrome Operations is the heart of the Airport. It's dynamic, challenging and constantly evolving operational environment with multiple departments working together to deliver efficient safe, stable and compliant operations.
The role will facilitate your professional development, through exposure to the demanding, multi-faceted and rewarding 24/7 operational roles. You will rotate through the Aerodrome teams, with a key part of your development being the identification of departmental and cross-departmental improvement opportunities, the production of change plans and where required assisting with the delivery of local improvement projects. You will play a real-time key role in driving the success of the wider team.
Part of the programme will include a leadership development module with the other graduates and a dedicated coach (a senior leader from the business) to help build resilience in the workplace.
What will you do?
- Work within and across aerodrome departments to gain a thorough understanding of aerodrome operations.
- Gain a hands-on working knowledge of the challenges in each team and across functions.
- Identify improvements which may directly and positively impact on safety, efficiency and performance.
- Assess and prioritise a range of improvement opportunities and produce plans
- Engage, influence and assist in the delivery of local improvement projects.
- Communicating successes and challenges at relevant forums.

Do you have what we're looking for?
- Minimum 2:1 degree in a technical degree such as engineering, science or airport management. (Graduated 2023 or projected for 2024)

- Tenacious, naturally inquisitive and curious to find a better way

Selection Process
- An online application that will involve a CV – closing date 31st December 2023.
- Online assessments to demonstrate your strengths and the necessary behaviours to be successful
- If successful a virtual 1st stage screening call
- An assessment centre with group and individual activities as well as a behaviour-based interview with the opportunity to meet managers and explore the airport.
