What is the role?
The Senior Capacity Planning Analyst will play a pivotal role in shaping the airport's long-term growth strategy. As a technical expert and strategic partner, you'll develop advanced forecasting, modelling and scenario-planning solutions that influence major infrastructure investments, operational planning and future capacity decisions across the airport.
This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of a dynamic and complex operation, collaborating with senior leaders, operational teams and external stakeholders to ensure data-driven decisions support sustainable growth and operational excellence.
What will you do?
- Design and develop sophisticated airfield and terminal capacity models that support strategic business decisions.
- Lead forecasting, scenario planning and analytical studies to identify future capacity requirements and growth opportunities.
- Analyse operational processes and performance data to identify efficiencies and improvement opportunities.
- Present findings, recommendations and business cases to senior stakeholders, executive leaders and airline partners.
- Provide expert insight into future airport demand, infrastructure requirements and operational impacts.
- Drive continuous improvement in modelling approaches, analytical standards and planning methodologies.
- Consolidate and interpret complex datasets to support evidence-based decision making.
- Deliver high-quality analytical outputs within agreed project timelines and quality standards.
Do you have what we're looking for?
- Degree-level qualification in Aerospace Engineering, Operational Research, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical, quantitative and reasoning skills.
- Experience developing mathematical models to solve real-world problems.
- Proven ability to extract meaningful insights from complex data and translate them into actionable recommendations.
- Strong problem-solving capability and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
